I have served clients for 40+ years and have offered online counseling sessions for 20+ years. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, Florida), practicing psychotherapist, and Certified Clinical Supervisor.

I have worked in mental health and substance use outpatient counseling centers, clinics, detox and residential treatment programs, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals in Illinois, Massachusetts, and Florida. I earned a doctoral degree in Human Development and Counseling from Boston University and completed doctoral-level study in philosophy at the University of Toronto. I am in private practice at Enhanced Healing Counseling in Port Charlotte, Florida.

I believe that having good self-esteem, a positive self-image, and authentic self-love is essential for anyone who wants to experience a healthy and happy life. I also believe that the true and only solution to drug addiction, alcohol dependency, and substance use problems, as well as most mental health issues, is for a person to learn how to develop or create a positive self-image and genuine self-love. The key to this psychic transformation lies in changing your thinking, especially about your value and worth as a human being.

When you learn to think differently, especially about yourself, when you learn to think positively about yourself and others, and stop all negativity towards yourself and others, you will begin to experience good self-esteem, a positive self-image, and an authentic love of yourself as you are now, in the present moment. As a result of this inner transformation, you will not engage in self-destructive behaviors, including using drugs and alcohol, that endanger your well-being and existence. I will help you learn to transform your negative thinking about yourself, others, and life into something positive, so that you can authentically love yourself and live your life powerfully. There is a solution to the issues you struggle with daily.

The online individual counseling sessions I offer are 50 to 60 minutes long.  While I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, my counseling work is holistic and non-traditional.  My practice focuses on Transformation Counseling, a practical method that helps you develop healthy self-esteem, a positive self-image, and authentic self-love. I use structured tools to help you change habitual thinking patterns that are not serving you, especially negative self-talk about your value and worth, so your daily choices align with the life you want to live.  This inner psychic shift in your thinking supports long-term recovery from addictive behavior and relief from many mental health struggles.

I also host a free, online daily counseling support group for individuals in recovery and for those currently struggling with substance use issues. We also address common mental health concerns (anxiety, stress, mood), all through a holistic, transformation-focused lens.
